This works so well as a trailer as well as an opening for the game. Though it does not show any actual gameplay there is so much about how the game makes you feel in this one movie. The hunters fighting against a new ape type of monster, after finding a half eaten kelbi in the snowy mountains which is also a new area. We see the gunner running away in fear of this new monster, then we see a very non-gameplay little fight here with the great sword, which is probably the only part of this whole scene that doesn't really work, though it does look cool. We then slowly transition to the villagers locating a new monster again. This one seems to be even more frightening as all of the hunters run away from it and we get to see from it's perspective at the hunters. surely its massive. After seeing it trying to tackle the hunters it turns around in the howling wind and rain (weather effects) and starts to stare down the hunters within the storm. The trailer heavily implies that this monster is creating the storm too as it switches between the weather and its silhouette. And finally we arrive at this amazing call to action after the rain subsides with all four hunters drawing their weapons to this heroic tune. Revealing that there are 4 new weapon types in the game. And finally we end with the great title shown. The last part with Lunastra seems unnecessary, feels sort of like (and wait there's more!) moment of a commercial. Overall this little movie is fantastic!

well Monster hunter freedom series is released in Australia on the PSP already... so far its not online unless you play on xlink kai. (tho there will be a online game called monster hunter frontier (its in beta stage atm (ofc its in japanese and blocks foreign IP addresses and it has a monthly payment on top of that) there is monster hunter released on PS2 but its not the newest. you can play Co-op with friends ofc... on the psp version using AD-HOC... or xlink kai for online =.=
