This was the last mh with great graphics before mhworld, I only bought the wii u for this and for smash bros, but this game has made me so happy, 700 hours of play, I keep playing sometimes even though there are like 10-20 hunters online hunting, I'll miss this game when it was on his good era, all the servers full of hunters, good times, for me is the best mh, because it was the last that had the classic hunting, as then they introduced new shit, the graphics that looked absolutely gorgeous in the wii u, the amount of monsters, the events, such a great game

I really really love MH Tri and feel nostalgic for it, too. I rushed through the original with a friend short before the servers turned off, just to see Alatreon once. Monster Hunter World is the better game in every way, but I loved the setting in MH Tri, it wasn't very hard and exploring really laid-back. I tried to return to Unite after Tri and World and it was impossible. Best Monster cast, but it's just unnecessary frustrating.

Just practice and get better, you're probably having a hard time because you're impatient and not paying attention to the openings the monsters give you in the old games. I started with MHW and went back to play 3U and 4U and I'm not finding it "impossible" just that the older games demand a higher learning curve. MHW is a great game but it's way easier than the previous games, and requires way less patience on the player's part.
