I love how they perfectly encapsulated the way the world of monster hunter is viewed differently in the movie than in the game. The movie sees it like a post apocalyptic action film while the game is a wonderful exploration of the world's environment and circle of life. To the characters in the game hunting monsters is a exciting action packed experience and they revel in it. The movie doesn't represent this aspect at all.

Listening to the music of MHFU, I can't believe it is already 10 years ago. My first MH game, which I initially tried being carried up to G-rank by my brother, then put down (because I sucked) before starting all over again solo the next year and sticking to the franchise since then. It is quite outdated now, but I will never sell it. Apparently, it is the game which caught the interest of Paul Anderson as well. Maybe a good sign.

The reason behind this rathalos being so big is that it may be the first time that we see a monster with the "correct" scale according to the in-game lore. The monsters we fight in the game normally are super scaled down to the hunter but this may be the first time we see how big they should really be.

if her theory was right about traveling in the past. would that have to do with the storms and portals that we have seen from the game become unstable in the future? basically how the army run into monster world. sense she showed up in the game. it looks like that's the case in later games. hell a few monsters in that world look alien and the theory I up about them ending up in the monster world because of the portals. makes it more possible that it's not just a theory anymore.

Okay, so... This is a prequel of sorts, where Artemis manages to do some wacky crazy time travel shit. The admiral learns her language, and then Artemis from the past ends up in the future. Some time dilation/warping, i take it.

Maybe safi'jiiva escapes the new world and goes to the old world to who knows where(possibly find more alatreons) and maybe see him turn into his final form as a black dragon? @@jesusbarrera3141 then that's a long wait. We first have to finish gen 5 with Rise. But I highly doubt anything Jiiva related will ever happen. At best we might get the admiral as a cameo or something. They don't really carry over plots to other generations. There will be a new super strong monster that the community can argue is the "strongest" despite having never been called that by the devs.

Apparently it goes two ways. One, the movie is set in the MHW universe we know and us, the hunters, were probably doing something else and not with the handler and everybody else. At the very end, she is seen fighting with admiral and field team leader. Apparently in the game it continues sometime after the ending where Artemis gets split up from the admiral and field team leader. However, it seems that she gets teleported back in time before the admiral meets her. Hence supports the part where the admiral in the movie was able to speak English and stated someone else gave him a book to research the language. Or....there are two universes of Monster Hunter, one of which we never existed but Artemis is basically the main character and kind of takes our place but from a different angle. And the universe she comes from is more darker and dangerous because vigor wasps, potions, and FLASHPODS or FLASHBANGS apparently don't exist. You'd think one of the soldiers had at least one flash bang.
