Indeed! The Bear types were mostly early introductory monsters, however this is the first Bear Type to be considered a powerhouse for endgame content!

I just hope they give the Rise original monsters some epic G rank modifications. a Ghoul type Goss would be cool, maybe have him form more western style weapons from demonic/vampire like energy

I do hope if they add Subspecies as well as additional Variants in the game, they make them for the new Monsters in Rise and keep the Apexes for returning monsters!

I've had a moment in a hunt going against Goss Harag, where i was fighting it, but it knocked me aside, stunning me. As i tried to unstun myself, it sauntered towards me and then attacked, carting me then and there. That crap was creepy

More than any other Rise monster, I really hope we see Goss Harag come back in the next mainline console MH game. I want to see him properly interacting with other monsters and the environment in a map with World’s environmental depth.

I can’t get over how it’s name has Hungarian origins and how red it gets when it becomes enraged. I’m Hungarian myself, and for me personally, my hands, parts of my arms, and entire face and neck will pump with blood and turn red. This happens when I’m working out, or if I get really mad at something. The stereotype of Hungarians having a temper is very true (I have gotten confirmation from Romanians and even Hungarians themselves). We’re a loud and rowdy bunch lmao. And yes, like Goss, my body temperature greatly increases. I’ve been able to go into a freezer that’s set to -2 degrees Fahrenheit and stay in it for like 5-8 minutes

I discovered that the Goss Harag is based off of a yokai from Japanese mythology called the Namahage. The people in Japan dress up like the Namahage to scare naughty kids into discipline, And there’s also a festival called the Sedo Festival. It’s like Perchten and Krampus in Europe. Same hobby, But different cultures. Edit update: Electivire from the Pokémon series is based off of the Namahage despite that it’s also based on an Oni(A Japanese horned ogre that wore tiger skin loincloths and has electric powers, And a yeti. Even though Electivire and Goss Harag are both from different video game series and are based off of the Yokai called the Namahage, Electivire is has powers from the element of Thunder⚡️ and it’s called Electric type in the Pokémon series, The Goss Harag in the Monster Hunter series has powers from the element of Ice❄️.
