the trick to monster hunter is waiting for opening. you need to learn the monsters' moveset. wait for the monster to finish their move and then attack and roll to safety. rinse and repeat. once you master that you can do a no armor run against any monster. if you keep losing, take a break from the games. don't get burn out. good luck and have fun.

All the monsters have a specific moveset. Just keep rushing in but try not to attack it, watch it attack you. Keep doing this till you think you know all of it's moves pretty well. Then put your best armor on and your most favored weapon, and try your best! This series is supposed to be hard, so don't feel bad if you die. Just keep trying and have fun and eventually you will beat it.

@@cillian_1 yeah, it's really hard to hit him when he's jumping around everywhere. breaking his arms helps, but he's still pretty mobile and hard to hit even when he stumbles for 2 seconds

This is the worst monster for me. In the way that it CONSTANTLY jumps back and forth. I run up to it it jumps back. I run over to it again it jumps again. It's like a fricking game of chase. And it runs away seemingly more than any other monster so when I finally get to attack it it just runs. Idk if anyone else has this issue with it but damn.

I have the same problem. Break its arms, it'll stumble and trip every time it does a pouncing attack and you'll have a small opening then to do some damage. Also probably try to stun him a lot so he doesn't do much of that moving nonsense

If I'm seeing this correctly, Barioth no longer has that ridiculous bash attack that had hitbox so huge you'd get hit even if you stood behind it, yes? That shit made me rage quit MHW for good 4:35 Nevermind, here it is. 4:53 Aaaand again.

@@alanalb1449 he's less aggressive and extremely predictable. In MHW he gave me some trouble in rise he's only slow and weak.
