I always loved charge blade, it was the very first weapon i used and it'll be my favorite weapon for a long time

the easiest indicator for condensed element slash(boosted sword mode) is to wait for the little shield nub to retract into the shield and the sword will always be ready any time after that

As a dual blades main in mhw, almost every other melee weapon is so fuckin complex. I really look forward to learning this weapon though.

I really hope they didn't take out savage axe, and I agree completely with the oversimplification of weapons in rise. After 2000+ hunts on the horn in world I was excited for the horn in rise and after 10 or so hunts on the demo with the weapon my initial hype is now just dissapointment, its not even close to the same weapon and gameplay boiled down to "press 3 buttons and destroy whatever is in front of you". You can't encore and evade moves with performance and actually think about what you are doing with it. Super dissapointed.

Couldn't have said it any better myself. I guess they got tired of people not playing HH despite the changes throughout the years and decided to make it braindead and OP. Easiest and quickest way to make people pick it up. I really don't think the changes were necessary cuz there will always be a least played weapon. Now that it's not HH it'll just be Lance or something. No need to dumb down a weapon simply cuz it's least played.
