A bit late, but event quests are not all available immediately after an update. They are drip-fed to keep players occupied until the next one. If it's not available now, it'll probably be made available in the next few weeks.

Am I the only one looking at the Bonus Variant and thinking "That kind of looks like White Espinas?" its wings and legs both have visible spikes on them, its white, and it would make sense as Espinas and Burning Espinas are already in, and this last one is confirmed to be a variant.

In MHR, if I use a sword/ hammer etc., it is very difficult just to get close enough to the monster to be able to hit it. I ended up using only HBG with shield ALL of the time, and play multi player mode only. I find the game really hard just to use the controller.

Where does it say "new" monster, it mention an additional monster, different vocabulary. And no a variant monster is not just a reskin, it use different and new patterns, offer new armor with new skills possibility, new weapons and new decos. Every variant they added had very good skill unique to them.

yeah i felt that same way too. playing since Monster Hunter ps2 then jump on to Generation, then World then rise. fast pace combat felt right. and copy paste monster just got me bored since we already knew the hitbox attack.

I don't even like the gameplay that much. What bothers me the most is that I sometimes can't see anything (especially when playing in multiplayer), because of the huge amount of flashy effect made by the players and monsters. Even if I turn it all the way down it's still extremely annoying

@@NeoShenlong00X I think it would be too hard to implement it with it having a proper reason. Odogaron is heavily tied to the rotten vale. An unique ecosystem only found in the hard to reach new world. But I think it's subspecies could technically appear outside of the new world. Also there is a small area in Rise (the area with Narwa), that looks somewhat similar to the Coral Highland, just smaller. So maybe a smaller rotten vale-ecosystem could exist somewhere
