Arkveld's name is interesting. Maybe it was chained away because it is super dangerours and can take aspects of different monsters into itself and change forms? He is kinda like an Ark, filled with animal DNA. I kinda hope we would have a Gore Magala / Shagaru Magala situation again. Where Arkveld is the flagship who turns into the final boss at the end.

My theory is that arkveld hunts the other apexes to gain his strength back which it lost during the time it's been chained and maybe either becomes an elder dragon (final boss) or once it has enough power tries to hunt down the final boss to become the ultimate apex

I was thinking the same thing! When you look at the logo for wilds it shows four small dragons chained to a larger dragon in opposition to the black dragon facing the other way. Which could definitely represent arkveld and the apex monsters vs an unknown force

So we've seen Arkveld tango with both apex monsters at this point, and even bind the forest apex with his whip chain appendages. Could he be leaching power from them in order to switch between elements like Alatreon, albeit to a lesser extent? Or maybe it's just a simple grapple that we saw. Either way, I wonder what impact he has on the ecosystem and wonder why he's potentially the last if his species.

I said this in another reply but I really want a Giant Poogie fight. You wouldn’t actually kill him and get carves though. You would pacify his rage and he would shrink down to his normal size. Then at the end of the mission you play the Poogie pet mini game and if you succeed you get extra rewards, if you fail he heals to full, grows giant and enrages again but the fight is twice as hard.

I knew that the release was very soon because they were showing so much so fast usually when a game is far off we don’t get so much shown but in a span of 2 months I think they showed most of the weapons and locales and a good handful of monsters. I’m just ecstatic for this game, it’s my all time favorite game, I’m definitely preordering the premium edition

​@@CrftyCrabthe full rise demo with Magnamalo came out 2 weeks before the game the first version came out in January yea but idk if they'll do 2 demos again especially because the timing would be rather suboptimal coming out in mid or end of December. The wilds demo also couldn't really be like the old mh demos if they actually want to show off the game because of the seemless world. The old demos where pretty much a quest youd do using preselcted gear like in arena, with the seemless world, hub being at least to some extent available and the dual weapon switching they have to basically completely change how they approach the demo. This means it requires way more work than fe the rise demo did so i doubt we will get it that early. Like mid maybe eraly January would be what i would expect. They don't want to really release it during Christmas because it'll just drown then fir alot of people, the initial hype will be there but there will be alot of stuff distracting from it dampening the impact. Also the demo out of capcoms perspective is less for the people who will buy it anyway and more for newer people or people on the edge about it. If it drowns in all the Christmas hustle itll be rather useless. And well people are saying soon. Like sure it might potentially not take all the way until 2 weeks before the game comes out but it'll also not be anytime soon even if it comes out early January.

Also there isnt such a thing as the portable devs. They switch all the time. Its 2 diffrent teams as fe the next portable game has to be started work on already so it can release about 2 years after wilds g rank which will come a year after wilds. Meaning there is a wilds team currently and a team for the next portable but it'll be diffrent people once the next mainline games is being made, like the wilds people aren't just mostly the world people. Some of them will even switch over to the portable team when wilds is out and they are working on the g rank. Also the teams do talk to each other too and help each other out.

You can clearly see that the seikrat decoration is just armor. You will likely make it like the palico at the beginning or it'll be the same for everyone. As the seikrat is this games gimmick and NOT a helper in the hunt like the palico it will likely not have armor or weapons thats why they called it decoration. It'll likely just function like layered armor for the palicos did. Just think before you assume micro transactions being the only way to customise it...
