Really great video. The performance mode genuinely looks like 720p without any upscaling. They have 6 months to fix it looking like mud.

If I had to guess, we're seeing 480p upscaled to 4k here. Resolution mode looks like 1080p upscaled to 4k.

The game is demanding even on PC so i wouldn't hold my breath if i was on consoles.

game releases in 3 months and on my ps5 it looked like somewhere closer to 1080-1440 upscaled. this video does not represent the actual quality at all. also, they made pc sound horrible, but i tried it on my pc with a 4060 ti 16 gig model and i was able to run it really well with dlss on quality, no frame gen. unoptimized? yes. mud? no

@@kgek0 on a 55" tv, in the hub with other people running around, it was hard to even see faces. Pixelation on hair and fur was everywhere. It's pretty bad in performance mode.

@@kgek0 You literally just explained why it's performing so well for you. Cause you're on the 16GB VRAM version. There's plenty of videos out there proving that anyone with only 8GB of VRAM is going to run into performance issues with higher settings plus DLSS/FSR and Frame Generation. Will it run, yes. Do people spend $1500+ on a comparable pc build just to not even break through 60 fps without DLSS/FSR? Not at all. Obviously this is just the beta and I'm sure they'll be doing due diligence to improve it some by the time the release happens but people have every reason to be concerned.

Hope they implement a 30 fps cap for resolution mode i don't like when games fluctuates a Lot, as for Performance i hope they can get ir to 60 somehow, otherwise thanks for the vid

I would honestly like to see them implement a "balanced" mode. Something dead center of the two modes would look and feel just fine imo

Have you seen a ps2 game legitimately and even so those games were better than anything recently god of war graphicly impressive gameplay not so much it's more hallway sim then ff13
