probably a dev cheat type thing. most of the demos have been on dev kit consoles so far. if its not some kinda cheat for dev stuff ill be surprised.

@@BARRELH8R1 It was confirmed a while back that rations/well-done steak will be used to get more HP and stamina Seems like it's an incentive to stay out in the field and cook your own meals, which I really vibe with

@@manuelito1233 I only ever regularly cooked steaks when I was in the Guiding Lands for a long period of time. I didn't do it even in older games like Freedom Unite and 4U, eating rations was always much easier and didn't take like three entire inventory slots (one for the barbecue spit, one for the raw meat and one for the steak). I'm really happy with this change too. Also, from what I could gather fishing now gives you multiple rewards per fish. The hunter got five scales off a single successful pull. Going through the entire animation cycle for every single sushifish or whetfish was mindnumbing and actively prevented me from engaging with the system, so with this change I'm really looking forward to just stop once in a while and fish for some good rewards

Seeing this handler walk around with you at around 27:00 make me think about the handler in world and how everyone hated on her for saying "we did this" and "we did that pard" The handler was always with you watching and doing stuff, you just couldn't see it because you'd start the quest and it was just you running around, but the handler was always there in the cutscenes like she was following you around the whole time.... Because she was. With this handler I hope you'll be able to see her do a more hands on job since it's now a "seamless world" Also ...... It'd be so cool if instead of just handler outfits this time, they give us the option of new handlers 🙏

Y'all, im pretty sure the 60fps with frame gen they mentioned on the system requirements was meant to say "you get 60fps with those specs, so try adding frame gen to boost it over 60 for a smoother experience". The recommended specs listed for 60fps at 1080p "medium" settings also probably includes ray/path tracing, which as you all know, grabs your GPU by the balls, yanks it and gives it a 720º twist. I think we can can all stop listening to the doomposters and start ignoring all the videos titled "Wilds situation is wild" or something along the lines regarding performance.

Is the village the same as the hub world area? I love the main hub areas in most MH games, always so peaceful and beautiful but when it comes to atleast this village it just isn't doing much for me sadly

Despite this being running at 60 fps I'd still take it with a grain of salt. Might as well be running onna ps5 pro, and optimizing a game for consoles is a very different thing than optimizing for endless hardware configurations on pc.

In the TGS demo play, all machines used 4K high quality monitors from a manufacturer that works with CAPCOM, resulting in 30 FPS on the PS5. However, in this video, the gameplay is probably being played at 1080p quality, not 4K, resulting in 60 FPS.

@@BadEnd98It’s because the game Is running HDR but whoever set up the game capture messed up the HDR tone mapping so it looks washed out. Blunty fixed it in his latest video and you can see how the footage is actually meant to look.

Unfortunately this video doesn't answer the concerns the pc specs have created, and there isn't really a way to answer them unless the developers say that the game is running at 60 frames per second natively or that the game is running at 30-45 frames per second natively and using frame generation to reach the 60 frames per second mark which is what the specs seem to indicate. Also, is it at any time confirmed the game is running on a playstation 5? A menu is shown at around the 13th minute that has a keyboard configuration option.

I don't care about graphics as long as the gameplay is fun, sometimes games that focus on graphics are complete dog water cause theyre gameplay is bad.
