Every time I go for a walk in the woods or anywhere unfamiliar I do just as Pj does. I walk around picking up seemingly random objects and I smell them and treat them as if they are of the up most magical importance. No one ever knows or understands what I'm doing or what I mean when I look at a rock or tree and shout something like "GOBLEGOOK! RUN." But it's just how I see the world, a place of adventure and wonder but on the surface there appears to be nothing.
