Hopefully the officials letting trucks run with damage (for a few seconds) this year will be a good sign for future seasons. I miss when they gave a crap and would rarely shut trucks off for damage. FELD has plenty of money to make Monster Jam what it used to be....what it's supposed to be.

@@miketrapper0464 Yeah, but shutting them off for things like a broken wheel, tie rod, shock, sway bar, or a flat tire is bullshit. As I've stated above, FELD literally has millions of dollars, yet they won't let Monster Jam be what it's supposed to be. Monster Jam should be fueled by as Scott Douglass put it "Raw determination, and the refusal to quit".

@@RDCNATION well yeah but also they still cost a bunch, and it’s probably a lot harder to get parts than it used to be making it more expensive, and they can’t damage a venue, venues are a lot more protective so depending on the severity of a crash it could depend of either we get monster jam or not, it’s the difference between risk versus reward, you gotta take the good with the bad sometimes ya know 🤷‍♂️

@@miketrapper0464 Yeah, I understand. This is probably one of the best replies I've gotten to my rants. I don't really understand why they've never had an issue with venue damage until here recently. What I mainly mean by that is the floor to the venue.

@@RDCNATION it’s about what the owners of the venue are cool with, obviously the venues that go to monster jam are letting them to use dirt and even use the entire space, but some that still are allowing them are very protective of their stadiums, for example Miami only allows a certain fraction of the floor to be covered with dirt, they’re super protective of their field, or in Sofi for instance, people complained that it wasn’t a big enough space for world finals and while that’s technically true they still made it work but had to use the limited ground because on ground level on the edges are glass suites, that cost a bunch of money, like Ryan Anderson said on the gears and nachos podcast on one of the episodes, there is no venue in the world built for monster trucks, so they can do what they can with what their allowed to do

I know that I could not ne a judge at these shows, cause I like what every driver did!! The Only thing I do not like is what ever stops a drivers run!! Cause by watching this Whole video you know that Each driver can put on a great show!! Yes there are better runs, but they all provide a great show!! I got to wonder if other drivers are as impressed as we are!! And we know there is No way to practice any or most of the moves they do!! I just wish I was able to see all of the shows that this video is showing!! Cause I like even the worst runs!! And I am glad that every driver is OK and those that where hurt have gotten better!! After all with how violent actions they all go through it is amazing that more are not hurt, but that also the Safety features work so that No one dies!!
