There was a show in which a monster truck circuit has a school in various regions and better drivers would go out and do a regional performance. All the vehicles belonged to one company and there would be multiple copies in each region. So while it looked like teams were going place to place, it was just regional talent with the drives being replaced on a regular bases.

Grave Digger was always my favorite, I remember I went to one monster jam and I was able to go out my the trucks and meet the drivers. I went and got a picture with the driver of gold digger and went to go get another one with Maximum Destruction and he held my upside down because I had a green Mohawk and a shirt with grave digger on it. I miss the mid 2000’s

As great as the drivers still make it, I can't get behind it being a blank dirt arena. Car crushing was what started monster trucks, and now it's lost it's identity. The only thing left to crush on the track is the trucks themselves, so yeah the crashes are getting bigger. Especially with how large those dirt mounds are, just doing a normal jump off of some of them is guaranteed to break a truck. Which is what they had to do to make anything interesting with an empty track. Which to me forcing the drivers to fling themselves high in to the air is more dangerous than driving through a delivery truck. Meh. Great video, but I can't get behind Monster Jam anymore.
