Audience, I remember taking my son to the monster truck shows. Grave Digger and others suspension wasn't as strong as these newer builds. I'm glad to still see these events for our children. My son is grown now, but it will NEVER be a thing of the past. Much love to ALL the entertainers🤜🏼🤛🏼🙌🏼.

The abuse set on these trucks is amazing I can't believe the craftsmanship of them they're absolutely superb there's no way a vehicle should be able to handle them jumps and flips and torque and still be able to drive after the first one

They CAN'T handle it. These things are broken and rebuilt every show. It R U L E S.

@@marquez1333 they do not get rebuilt every show. They get torn down to see if anything cracked, if nothing is they throw it back together and go. And not everyone of these is broken 🤣. Look at monster mud dalmatian, hardly ever broken.

@@platinummodz4033 They're essentially modular vehicles not unlike a hobby RC car. Axels, driveshafts, wheels, suspension and body all get broken and replaced frequently, even in between events at shows. The core components like the engine, frame, and transmission often survive but these things are built for those expendable parts to be easily replaced.

@@marquez1333 I had a 45 minute talk with Ryan, he said they don't replace anything until it's BLOWS, ( non functional ). Even if it's got damage they still run it until something blows. They don't get rebuild every time they go out lol

Went to a monster truck show at the Anaheim Stadium Calif, over 3 decades ago... Big Foot was there, but I don't recall any names of the other drivers vehicles. Although, they were there, there was no truck races, pretty much, they just brought out more 'uncrushed' vehicles... to quash down to a 2ft high pile of metal scraps. This was when it was in its infancy, and they were using 16 ton M1-Tank differentials, (the axles, housing and the gears), for the front/rear drive train. I actually stood, 'inside' the rim of one of the 8 ft tall tire's on Big Foot... and I didn't have to duck to fit, lol.

AFAIK Bigfoot doesn't do Monster Jam, so we will never see anotger Bigfoot v Gravedigger duel. Bigfoot V was a beast, but pushed the envelope too far for the time. Big V wouldn't even jump. The wheels used to be outside the truck body so the truck itself wasn't so high up, but they broke axles every time the truck moved. So they used shorter axles and moved the tires under the body, with the cost the driver cannot see the ground within 50 feet of the truck, and needs a spotter team. They all look funny as hell when they have the big tires changed out for little ones so the truck fits in the trailer for transport.

@@MGower4465 An note about the Anaheim show I saw, there was a Corvette bodied truck, at one point, it climbed on top of a couple crushed cars... then the hood lifted via hydraulics, from the windshield side, (hinges were at the nose of the truck). And his spark-plug wires, were transparent tubes, and you could see colored lights shooting through them that went faster when he revved the engine... I thought that was soooooo cool!! hehe This was in 1988 or earlier.
