Monster Jam has not been to this stadium since 2007, and they came back bigger than ever last night!! What a way to kick off Stadium Series West in the mud!! The problem is everyone simply gave Zombie a 10 for landing a backflip and throwing it down. Grave Digger did the same thing, but had better technical skills, combos, and hangtime. The score they gave Zombie is the highest in the truck's record

Both Anderson's were better than Zombie. The judging sucks. I thought Zombie almost died when he went to do his skills challenge. How fitting would that have been since zombie's are supposed to be dead. If Grave Digger ever beats Zombie, he needs to make a deeper hole so he can't get back out & eat brains. I guess we can say that there was a Zombie apocaylpse in San Francisco since he won & feasted on 11 other drivers' brains.

They ended Soldier Fortune's run early too. They shut her off right as she was about to resume her run. I guess you can only be shut off/refire a certain amount of times before they end your run.

@@miketrapper0464 yeah he barely grazed the wall. In most cases they'll let you continue. As for Soldier Fortune, she looked like she could continue, but the truck would probably continue to stall. I think they have a set limit of how many times you can refire before the officials say that's enough and end the run. It happened to El toro Loco in houston a few months back, the truck has shut off twice and looked like it could continue but they ended his run after the truck shut off a third time. I guess they don't want to go over their allotted run time.

I was walking by the park and I saw a bit of the show from outside. I like the Soldier Fortune truck. For a moment I thought Toyota was doing the presentation of the 2024 hybrid SUVs 😂. What kind of engines do they have? HP?

1500 hp engines. They are 540 cubic inch Chevrolet powered engines in the FELD trucks. It varies for the independent trucks. I also like Soldier Fortune & what it represents. Too bad Kayla had bad luck in all 3 competitons.

Yeah, that sucks. I like Joe. He can really throw down. He'll probably run harder since he has a FELD body on the truck. The Axe bodies were getting too expensive from all the crashing he did.

Certainly a freestyle competition of all time. Fans must have been dying of boredom at the time Zombie hit the track for that run to get 98.47% of a perfect score. Adam got robbed, no offense to Bari. But that's the way fan judging goes sometimes.

Fan judging hurts my soul. It's gotten to the point where it hurts the legitimacy of the sport and it really sucks to see.

How do they go from the high that was the all star challenge all the way down to this. In the sense that, WHY did avenger get shut down and wasnt able to continue his run? Thats such a disappointment for the fans, has nothing to do with Jim, all on the rules/officials. And overall this first show seemed pretty lackluster especially as a season opener. Racing could of been better, but i blame track conditions for that. Skills challenge was boring as always. Freestyle was mediocre. Rating the show a 6/10, nothing special. Great coverage as always though! Cant wait for the 2nd show, which im hoping is better
