I think the safety officials should kept Tom Meents going, I've heard that fans were furious when they shut him off. Tom Meents always lived up to the name "Maximum Destruction" ever since.

He should’ve been allowed to save it, yes, but I do agree in this case with the shutoff as he broke off a shock tower which is threatening to he himself. However, I see no reason not to at least let him save it.

This show honestly proved that 1 day shows work way better than 2 days. Everybody let loose just like they should and didn't have to worry about preserving the truck for a second show.

You sure World Finals 22 was really good with 1 day? 2 Days was way better. They had everything planned, and they didn't have to delay or rush everything.

Yeah lol. I don't mind either track style but I don't understand why they kept switching from the paperclip style to St Louis style. For example, Jacksonville and Detroit could've fit this track, Jacksonville did last year and I think Detroit is a bigger floor than Syracuse. Oh well lol

@@Pablo-312 I agree with that. I was waiting for Tom to floor it into some classic sidewalls but they shut the trucks off way too early these days that the drivers rarely have a chance to save it

@@Pablo-312 Tom broke the front left shock tower completely, maybe even the rear left, you can see it hanging lower than the axel. I wish they let him get the save but shutting that breakage off was acceptable, maybe just let him save it first.

-I know Tom basically broke a whole shock tower or two, but man I REALLY miss the days where "Maximum Destruction" meant something. Now Max-D isn't a top name anymore, at least to me it doesn't feel like that. Like yeah Tom still kills it out there, but when you have people like Tyler, Ryan, Adam, etc completely throwing it down, it just launches grave digger to the top even more while Max-D stays where it is and doesn't grow. They really need multiple Max-D trucks again, its such a legendary truck to just keep stagnant ESPECIALLY when you are shutting off the man himself EVERY SINGLE TIME. -Its small but I love Jameys little thing he does every weekend before his freestyle where he blows his smoke at someone. I'd love to think he is having an absolute blast with the El Toro Loco name haha. -Seeing Bryce and Matt win the overall is AMAZING. I honestly love that duo so much, Matt seems like such a great dude and you can really tell how passionate he has been all season long (That mohawk really gives him powers, im telling you) Hope to see them on top again, both truly deserve it. Also I'd even love to see matt as a driver one day, he is too charismatic NOT to have him as a driver. Great job guys!

I think Team Meents should be a thing again where he was the captain of multiple different trucks. Bring back Bulldozer and try to work out a deal with Triple B Motorsports to use the Monster Patrol and Bearfoot names to pay tribute to where Tom first started. 2023 is also his 30th anniversary of driving monster trucks too.

I went last night and I had a blast. It was nice to get the tradition back on after missing last year and the year before. Just sitting in there and looking at the new roof and inside felt very different. Also, yes I was upset that they shut Max D XX off when he was just about to save it. Lastly, during freestyle every driver (except Soldier Fortune who didn't go for it which is fine) stuck the landing during backflips. Except for El Toro Loco who broke the streak since he got too cocky after blowing smoke into Adam Anderson (Grave Diggers) face. Which I found that funny. Lastly, it was so cool to see Bakugan Dragonoid since I missed seeing him last year.

But if yes I will make sure to credit you (to show I'm not stealing or claiming as my own) since you are the one who made this video. I don’t think Adam did a backflip though. Also, Tom broke an entire shock tower and it ended up out of place, so although it was fair to shut off a truck in that condition, I believe he should’ve been allowed the save.
