Hi, thanks for your comment. I'm guessing you are referring to Lisa Joy Young's Blue monster face. Our designs are similar yes, but this is how I have painted my monsters for years and many people have requested a tutorial from me. We both use different techniques in our applications and the overall look is not the same. As you have said, there is so much to do in face painting, but there are also many different ways to paint similar designs. Have a great day :)

I see lots of people doing this green mask thing with horns coming out of the top and bottom, but they don't say what kind of monster it is. One video I found said it was a monster/dragon, but I don't see a dragon in any of them. It's not Frankenstein. It's not Dracula. It's not a zombie. Why are they all green? Why are there horns coming out of the top AND bottom? Is it some character from a movie? Did people just see one face painted out of nowhere and then it caught on such that everyone is copying the design? What/who is it, exactly?

joe doe it's not a specific character! If you Google 'monster' you get loads of images of little green creatures, many with horns. I've designed mine like this as it fits well on the face as mask and is quick to paint.

I think you are very rude......face painters, in general, by definition, share their stuff and teach each other and I am guessing that YOU do not have original paintings b/c I have never heard of you. Lisa Joy Young is a great painter and so is Ashlea, I FOR ONE appreciate them sharing with us!!!!!
