As an 8 year old girl in WA. State (Amboy) I saw a Bigfoot out my bedroom window. He was so tall that he was probably close to 8-9 ft. It only took a few steps to be out of sight but I know what I saw. This was around 92' or 93'

Can't be killed... I talked to a trapper in 1967 in Northern Ontario and told him about my encounter with a giant hairy person in the woods...he told me a story of his own that in 1966 he saw a large sasquatch stealing his beavers out of his traps so he drove up on it with a Skidoo and told it to drop the beavers, the sasquatch just growled at him so he grabbed his 30-06 and shot it twice, once in the belly and the second in the chest area... the sasquatch didn't flinch, so he left fast...Now he was frightened it would follow him home... true story! ...this happened on Key river in the winter not far from Grundy Lake Provincial Park.

Yes he did kill it. Just because it didn't immediately fall doesn't mean it wasn't mortally wounded. How will it get medical treatment? So he killed another person for taking his beaver? Harsh Dude.

I disagree with your "never." I carry a pretty big gun that'll put a hole through an engine block. If I am threatened, or any loved one with me? And if the probability is there for me to do so? One will be dropped without a second thought. And you don't have to be an elder of anything to understand that they, the bigfoot, don't want to be in harms way when it comes to humans. But not all are like that. Some have taken people. American indians have said this, as well as stories of others. They're not fluffy and cute little bunnies who wouldn't hurt a fly. They're top level predators. And they're certainly not some type of spirit, ghost or magical entity. They're a live animal like you and me.

I'd like to add my two cents about their walk. I tracked one for approximately 1 mile as it was running away from me. The first print I saw was on a flat trail at the top (summit) of the mountain in a patch of moist dirt. It was very fresh with sharpness and struck me as being from a young adult or teenager Sasquatch. The foot was slender though still two inches longer than my size 11 shoe. The Bigfoot trackway went down a very steep mountain slope, weaving through trees at a high speed. It had the ability to take long leaps coming down into dirt by planting it's weight into the heel ball of one foot while stabilizing it's balance by the other foot which was being extended far behind. It could come to a very controlled sudden stop and didn't have problems slipping and falling on it's butt like we do. There was no way a human could move that quickly through the dark forest shadows without risk of injury and getting poked in the eyes by branches. Also, Bigfoots don't just smell bad from a secretion of armpits. I was drenched in sweat from the chase and had to turn back lest be caught out in the dark unprepared. Bigfoots climbing up and down mountains in fur coats would stink to high heaven of accumulated BO, moldiness, and probably "dirty" rectums as well. For anyone brave enough to try and meet one in a wilderness where they live, pounding a rock against a hard log, alone late at night will get them to come to you but you'll wish you hadn't done it. There's something inherently terrifying about their presence to us humans. They're nocturnal and can see you fine from the surrounding forest darkness you can only listen into. You'll find it difficult to convince yourself your fear is unfounded and perfectly safe especially from the large adult males. They know we're not trustable and they don't like us posing a threat to their family and youngsters. Thanks for your attention. Truth shared is truth learned and we're getting closer to having it about Sasquatches.

+LAND SEA AIR CANADA You're welcome. These incredible creatures do have much more improved senses and abilities for living in the wild than humans. The one I came upon was most likely grazing the meadow in the sky which was a salad bowl of diversity from being moistened by clouds often. When I was climbing and had almost reached the area, I heard the thumping of something heavy running, but thought it was an elk. I tried going back and staking out the area with cameras but they're just too frightening at night and gave up the idea quickly.

Having had an extensive relationship with several First Nations people, I have to disagree with Mr. Greens assessment of the dividing line between those beings that are mythical or spiritual and those possessing the realm of reality. All First Nations people have common names for known animals, such as a bear, deer, beaver or wolf, and names given to spiritual beings such as the Underwater Panther, the Thunderbird or Windigo. The Ojibwe name for the Bigfoot is Sa'be, and that name falls within the same group as known animals. The difference is that First Nations people regard those animals not as inferior, but as relations and in many cases superior. I think it is more than relevant that most Tribes and Nations have a name for a known being, living within the area of these Tribes and Nations that are descriptive of the beings being observed today.

Good interview up to a point. This gentleman is very clear headed and reasons on this subject well as per process of elimination. I strongly disagree with him on his idea of killing one of these, if in fact they do exist for several reasons first of which is if you did the chances of one dragging it out of the forest would most likely be impossible because of it's size and probably retaliation from others in the area. Second it don't make sense to destroy anything you don't understand. Thirdly , no one knows how close to the human family they really are.

About a decade ago my brother and I worked in a shop next to a house owned by a friend of ours. We call him Bigfoot Joe because he sincerely believes in Bigfoot. I do now as well, but what my older brother did to that poor guy is down right hilarious. One weekend my brother (who is quite the artistic type) poured a fake cast of a foot print that looked just like Bigfoot's. Early the following Monday morning when my brother and I got to work he got it out and made imprints of these "tracks" leading through Joe's garden and on up almost to his back door. Then we sat and sipped coffee in the truck and waited for Bigfoot Joe to come out, as we knew he always watered his garden at 7:00 AM before he left for work. The look on Joe's face was the most hilarious thing I think I have ever seen!!! He was so overwhelmed with joy that he dropped the watering bucket and ran inside to get his wife who also believes very seriously in Bigfoot. For a few long moments they both were ecstatic and then Joe saw my brother and I sitting in the truck. OMGoodness was that funny! Right away he knew my brother pulled some kind of prank on him but my brother wouldn't confess to it. A few months later we were all at my brother's house and there was that Bigfoot casting laying in his little garden and Joe just rolled his eyes and gave my brother a hard time for the longest over that! OMGoodness was that ever funny!!! Mean yes...but VERY FUNNY!!!

Shooting anything before you know what it is IS A BAD IDEA don't do it. It may be someone faking a Bigfoot dressed up like one and you would be convicted of murder if you did shoot. On the other side of it, if you shot a real Bigfoot and it turns out that bigfoots hunt or travel together in packs then you might get killed when they come to see what happened to their friend. Pissing these creatures off may set off a whole range of vengeful killings of hikers if people start hunting them. Remember, it's their turf And we r the trespassers.

Mr Green was a good researcher. However, the knowledge about this species has progressed greatly since Mr Green was doing research. He still believes this is an Ape, which was typical until much later. Since then we've had many discoveries and our knowledge has increased exponentially. Confirmed gift giving, documented language, and advanced intelligence has become a reality most old-timers refuse to acknowledge. Thanks for your contributions Mr Green, we serious researchers acknowledge them.

Mr. John Green; I love this man - He is very 'Intelligent' & more so of having been industrious in his life with the amassing of troves of becoming astutely 'Knowledgeable' - BUT - He is - ALSO - Appreciatively very 'Logical + sensical (To the - CORE..!!) Which I find adverbially in the least; Refreshingly profound & I have a lot of respect and time when 'all those 3 things' are present in ones thought & process. (meticulous) He reminds me of what people like 'Plato or Aristotle' represent to me; "Filled with Wonder Until Accurate Found Facts of Plunder" Not many men made, shaped to/or think and make "non-convoluted" sense - like this does to me. It's funny how talked about habitat you think that if a Bigfoot was found dead or alive ,nearly all the logging would have to stop just think of the impact of that on the big business boys ,if you watch the video about the Tasmanian tigers, if they were found out that the Tasmanian was tobe alive, the logging would have to stop ,and with logging being a major source of income that's a lot of financial impact on jobs ,trade etc and I really think this is partly why there is a lot of denial and cover ups of Bigfoot by the governments ,there is a lot of money not to be made by the existence of Bigfoot being proved ,this is just my opinion atvb Steve

wow about the bear. I have listened to many accounts of Bigfoot witnessed catching things, and he does tend to rip body parts off: a pig ripped in half (half of it left behind for the farmer), the hindquarters of a cow ripped off after the Bigfoot grabbed it and basically broke its neck, dogs ripped apart, full grown bull elk caught and heads about ripped off, a deer witnessed caught and head about ripped off. I wouldn't even be able to rip the head off a rabbit. Imagine the strength...

With all today's technology we have, just capture one or tranquilize one.. why kill something as magical as bigfoot..but I think the government already knows they exist..but there's been more than enough siting to have time to tranquilize one..BUT DON'T KILL IT...HOW STUPID....

I beg to differ for sure because these creatures haven't been put on an endangered species list for mankind not to kill one for science to prove my statement so therefor it's not against the law yet !!!! And when done so and science comes forward in late breaking world news media stating the facts of what these creatures truly are then and only then can these creatures become lawfully an endangered species !!!! They're NOT off the radar because scientists say bring one in for study !!!! Everyone is entitled to they're opinions but I'm stating the facts here !!!! I do believe our federal government knows that these creatures exist but they don't wanna cause an uproar about it for some unknown reason !!!!

Saying shoot it is so wrong. Imagine this: some guys are going to pull a prank. So they’re in the bush, and suit wearer is doing his thing while his buddy is filming from a ways away. Now , there’s another person hunting far away, he sees this “animal” lines the scope up and shoots. I personally would be pretty damn worried running around in the bush with an animal costume on.

I recently had the honour and privilege to meet Mr John Green. The work and material this man has gathered over a good part of his lifetime is outstanding. I have been interested in Sasquatch for many years as members of my family have had both encounters and sightings. There is no doubt to myself and my family they are real. For years we have only discussed this within our family and some friends that had encounters themselves.

+Squalieen BushBarbie When the crew met with MR.Green he was somewhat cranky and moody, it was likely a result of BBC coming before and making light of the subject, you see Green is a compiler of data and yes a researcher just not in the field, like so many others who never really went looking for the sasquatch, they some how became iconic experts, this subject is so full of half truths and deception, we do not wish to take away your experience just know there are others far more in tune with the subject... Peace out

He was definitely a trail-blazer...and as for everyone vying for authoritative positions I agree to a degree...but there are many who are pursuing knowledge without their egos getting in the way. Sharing and cooperating with each other is becoming the new norm. This is the way real progress is achieved.

john green, legend in the bigfoot world, and he has documented much......but, he has a blinkered view of the subject, and is stubbornly narrow minded. These creatures are not apes, not in the gorilla, chimp, or orangutan sense of the word, anymore than we are. What we are dealing with is a being that is just as intelligent as we are, maybe more so....All first nations people, the whole span of the globe, refer to them as "people", not a type of animal, and that is where a lot of researchers are going wrong....also, there is still a great deal we do not know or can even begin to understand, about these beings.

DUDE i have been trying to tell everyone that for ever! being a white guy when i first really sat down and thought about it, i thought id had an epiphany and an original thought... then i realized i had already heard that most native translations included the word man. they are us but a branch of us that split off when they realized that to make tools was to depend on tools.

I realize Bigfoot may be a sub human specie that should be protected but actually, the truth of existence would have to be in a specimen or body, as it would be impossible for capture. However, many species of canine are more aggressive than others, much like the pit bull and many have banned them even to the point of euthanizing them which a Bigfoot may fall into being they may be characterized as a predictor of humans. I would deem a body first, dealing with actual law afterwards.

I agree ,Maybe sometime I might speak to a credible researcher about one particular encounter that I had that completely changed my viewpoint on the bigfoot on being a simple animal,It is a highly intelligent creature with almost human reactions.

I believe even in this interview he said, "They are a species of their own." Did you not hear that? I did. It was towards the end of the video. Yes, first nation people also regard this species as somewhat dangerous. Specific markers that are characterized by telling the children not to go past the branch are common. Safety is the reasoning behind this. East Texas is a good example for activity within this species that seems aggressive. David Paulides on coast to coast

I read every comment. an amazing interview. I did not know that he swam that's a new thing to me. He has the 1950s mentality and should be excused for it. Also the Giants have been taken by the Smithsonian so therefore a dead body would be hidden there is no turning it around to be acceptable. that they walk better than us is amazing. He had incredible knowledge. The fact that he showed himself human and not perfect it's funny all the comments don't shoot a Bigfoot. Is all they could think about? Dear Lord that man had great Insight on Bigfoot. I know for a fact in my own experience in life that Bigfoot is attached to everything we don't know UFO crop circles pyramids the world that was before we became so mundane critical so unspiritual. yes the interview volume was a little low. Big deal it was a great great interview great job thank you very much!

I find his narrow mindedness very tragic!! It takes away from his research. Also...to make statements to shoot them is highly reckless and can have a criminal outcome. Some people joke and wear suits etc...so you can't just shoot unless your life is in clear and present danger. Our belief systems can also limit us in a subject matter that requires an open mind in addition to evidence.

Some really important insights here from the legend himself. For example, "If you think Patty is fake, you don't know what you're talking about". Also the comment about no migration was interesting. I also liked the bit at the end where he explained that if BF doesn't exist, then 100% of sightings are wrong - of course, he went on the explore the more likely case of the converse. And look, Colleen D., until one of these things shows up at Costco asking for a membership card we need a body - roadkill would be fine, but so far naddah, so you have to condone a scientific specimen. However, as has been shown, they move in groups and will recover the body and keep it from you. So, if you plan to shoot one, you'll need to be ready to shoot several. Anyway, I enjoyed this very much - thanks for posting.

+theHentySkeptici always thought patty WAS fake? the costume was hired (and never returned) bob heronimous gait, the picture of him in the suit with american football shoulder pads etc, bigfoot is real but look at the internal facts (sure you have) of the patterson gimlen film and it points to desperation, actual invoices from hollywood regarding a state of the art suit (sort of) the failed hoaxes etc and the sheer good luck of the fateful day? no other film has ever been made of this human species since??? the hunter that got 2 bigfoots after him and the ostman tapes are way more hard to dispense of, they go where the food is and humans are not, also 100 bigfoot nights is well worth a look,as is missing 411 etc

The best thing he says in my opinion is that they are a seperate creature. They are a creature all their own. Not ape. Not human. They are just like a dog is a dog and a horse is a horse. Bigfoot is a creature all their own. Some are beautiful and some are just plain ugly as all get out. Not all are cone headed. Some have rounded heads just like us while others have that ridge. Once you see one and go eye to eye with one the others are easier to see for some odd reason. Some are beautiful and friendly. Some are ugly and mean as hell. If they want to show themselves to you they will. If they don't want to show themselves you won't see them. They are everywhere. And I think they do migrate to find mates. A female is not going to breed her father. They are a lot like us in many respects. Such wonderful creatures that deserve our care and respect. They need to be listed as an animal that needs protection.

Do they bury their dead. Do they prepare food or eat raw? Live subterranean cept for brief ascensions? Hard to hike woods without finding animal remains of some sort especially skeletal debris of something this large. Just as archaeologists love to study dump sites from old cultures we need to approach this in the same manner. Park rangers, guides, hunters, know where carnivore dens are. A wolf den for example would be the perfect place to look for remains of what the wolf carried home for lunch. Not that a wolf could bring one down but canines love to dig and scratch up stuff and drag it back home. More so than a wolf or cougar, i'd be looking for an area where bears are known to hibernate in a cavernous area.

Ok people I’m an independent, I also had a face to face encounter with a very large beautiful Shinny slick haired black male Sasquatch Sept. 10, 2018 on my property in in Alabama about 100 miles from the Tn. Line.which lasted approximately 4 min. @75’. Ok that said WE DO NOT! Shoot Sasquatch to prove their existence. We are past this about as far as we are going to war with our brothers. This is stupid and this elderly mans opinion is dead wrong. Please don’t follow his advice on this matter.
