Hi Flossy, What a Nice review, I just bought one like this. It's an amazing speaker. Just spent a 3 day weekend without recharging it, Weekend resume: 2 full days listening to music at medium volume 3 hours party at maximum Charged one phone form 0 to 100% it's still showing 30% on the battery. My friends had their jaw dropped hearing the quality sound and seing the battery life. Now gotta buy another one and try to stack em !!

That thing is unreal. I got a little chuckle out of the fact that my tiny Altec Lansing Mini H2O speaker says the exact same thing when you first turn it on. I can vouch for how good Altec Lansings are; I'm still using the computer speaker system from them I got at Walmart 5+ years ago. I paid 32 bucks for it and it punches *way* above its weight in terms of sound quality.

I can't stand altec's start up and I consider jbl speakers better sounding though limited in volume compared to big speakers like this or the monsters rock n roller . But I might put up with it for the skatepark when I don't want to keep taking my jbl xtreme and flip 3 forever otherwise I am considering a monster or sony extra bass speaker

How loud is this compared to the braven xxl?? I need a loud BT speaker for a construction site. Although I love my braven at full volume it will last between 4-5hours and I work a 10hour shift.

I just tried both of mine at the beach Saturday. Unreal.life guard told me to turn the bass down. That should sum up how good they are. Was able to purchase from sams club for $99 each. They lasted all day and they the after party. Ok

I just got this speaker I had the ion outback it was a good speaker but needed charged everyday after work and the monsters sound is wayyy better and louder I love the monster if anyone is thinking of buying the ion spend the few extra bucks it’s well worth it you will not regret it I swear

Another great review! I think Ecoxgear needs to send you a couple Ecoboulder Plus units to review. Watched a few reviews on the original model, but none that demonstrated the different eq presets the system offers, or using two units wirelessly connected together.

bonverm k according to monster Cs the volume level is the same. The pro is more $$ because of wireless mic and inner components of higher quality for duty heavy use
