My first time commenting on your channel. I'm a total newbie to fishing and would like to start. I live on the St Lawrence in LaSalle. (Close to the aqueduct and not too far from the Lachine canals). I would probably prefer the river though. Any recommendations on the rod/reel to get as a starter? My budget for a combo is around 70 to 100. Should I allocate more?
