Lovely stuff...like the cooking part...my advice would be don't add too many fish fingers at one time to the oil. Takes too long and makes the outer batter soggy. Hot oil ..less in pan. Faster and crisper. My 2c worth but you know my history Segal. Love the video. Well done bud. Can't wait for our next session.

Hi guys. I'm a born and bred capetonian having spent many days and nights at Macassar. I'm now living in East London so have not fished Macs for 6 years. I'm coming down to cape town for 3 weeks and would like to go fish Macs a few times. Could anyone please tell me of it is accessible by car these days and if so which end is best access. Ledges side or from far side. Tx a mil

Macs is definitely accessible by car. From both sides. As long as you stay on the hard stuff just above the high water mark you good 👍. I’m heading up towards your neck of the woods for December. Hoping to get some good fish in the estuaries. Will be posting more content on that as we go.
