Love that during the montage of Bigfoot racing you can see his original rival the og gravedigger in the background. Man do I wish I was around for these events back then. It seemed monster trucks were more at their peak back then then now.

The Bigfoot haulers were top notch back then and through the 90's. Had to have been a sight to see going up and down with highway and definitely a eye catcher.

Like a lot of comments on here I also had this VHS as a kid and watched the hell out of it. It's so corny compared to today's standards. Thanks for the upload. Never forgot the cheesy monster truck animation at the end it was so goofy lol gotta love the 80's.

imagine if we all started our day the exact same way as Jim Kramer does in this video. During the 80's and early 90's that would've been a dream.

This is sooo awesome! Why don't they build them like this anymore? All that fiberglass, it's just ridiculous! Back in the day they still had real trucks.
@DOWNEY7706 жыл бұрын
Constantin Weiler it's all about the dollar figure at the end of the day it's easier to hang an entire fiberglass body versus tear down a truck to replace a steel cab box in fenders
@user-uj3zk2cx8t5 жыл бұрын
Many reasons why they don't build monster trucks like most of the steel bodied leaf sprung trucks in this video. Safety, cost, injury to drivers, maintenance, etc. Typical uneducated, stuck-in-the-80's comment.

Bob didn't want to put Camel decals on his truck during the Camel championship but he puts his truck in a cigarette commercial?
@gismo12355559 жыл бұрын
so what maybe he didn't want to. Bigfoot is an american icon they just couldn't be in ever thing or they would send the wrong message to younger fans
@marks1509 жыл бұрын
+Forehead Jones By the time of the Camel series, it was the 1990s and cigarettes had by then earned their stigma. That Indonesian cigarette commercial on the other hand is from the early 1980s -- a different time. Also, back then Bigfoot was not synonymous with kids which explains why it featured in adult audience movies.
@gismo12355559 жыл бұрын
Ok so then why did Bob Chandler say that they had to do right by the kids and little fans of bigfoot
