We fished a couple beaches that day. but you're spot on-the beach we ended up landing that YT on was Migriño. Certain times of the year they make it in close enough you get a shot at them!

Is that a pretty rare catch for down there? I've surf fished the Baja on 3 trips now. The last trip one of your clients talked you up quite a bit. I've been planning a trip to NZ to catch some "kingies", I didn't hear anybody talk about catching them in the Baja though.

For sure! I'd love to get out there..Last I was in AU I didn't get the chance to get down that way. and I think it was the wrong time of year for them anyways..Isn't your best season around January-ish? Also, your Kingis are a different subspecies..they do get much bigger. We'll have to trade off- you come over here to get yourself into a big Rooster. ;)
