People just seem to not respect the chillout and melodic side of Au5. Be glad the man has returned with his amazing sound design and use of percussion. Sure, his wubs are iconic. But diversity is key for an artist to grow. And Au5 has grown so much since the beginning. It's clear to see why this song is called "The Journey". It sure has been one for god knows how long. It hasn't quite occurred to me that it's been nearly 3 years since Au5 released anything on this label, largely because he's continued to release stuff outside of Monstercat that's no different from anything he did before. But I can't deny it feels great to see him back on the label, he always raises the bar whenever he releases here. I expected this song to be more of an ambient piece, which I would have been perfectly content with since his other ambient work is fabulous, but it turned out be a spectacular dubstep track that serves as a good reminder to newer fans of his "golden age" back here. Hope he releases here more frequently!
