well he is a very elusive artist tbh, he doesnt play sets all that much, its usually a gamble whether you can spot a set of his in tokyo or not... so he keeps himself unknown I guess, makes ethereal music but keeps under the radar, if it wasnt for silk music, he would be just some random guy doing gigs on and off for hobby.

I would say Shingo is the next Oakenfold or Adam K/Soha, but he has a very unique sound that's all his own. Progressive, upbeat, melodic, transcendent....amazing.

This is the feeling I associate with Progressive House. When I first got into trance/prog house, the first mix I listened to was "'Taking You Higher Pt. 3' (Progressive House Mix) by MrSuicideSheep". I synced it to my phone before a vacation, but hadn't really heard the whole thing, or on decent headphones. When I did, it was at the very front of the cruise ship while I ran on a treadmill, with nothing but a huge curved glass window in front of me, giving me a nearly full field-of-view of an idyllic oceanscape with a beautiful sky and clouds moving by. It was surreal, and now it's something I think of when hearing the kind of uplifting prog house I get from people like Shingo Nakamura
