I don’t care if Smith is leaving for a new team, a teammate should never do that. That decision is the same reason he didn’t win this title nor has he ever won one. People can hate on Deegan for being “cocky”, but he has the right attitude. You think MJ or Tiger Woods were well liked by their competitors? Heck no. You’re there to win, and to win against the best in the world you have to think you’re the best. Deegs made some big mistakes this year, but he learned more by making those than if he had been perfect all season long. He didn't need to win that race esp if he actually lost his contact and couldn't see. He and deegan were both 8+ seconds on third with not much time left. Let deegan go by ,dial it back to play it safe and chances are he still would have been on the podium that day and still have a massive cushion. Oh well, end of the day vialle stayed consistent and earned the title.

Deegan would have had the EAST without all the set backs he had at the first of the season, he showed his true speed in the last few races. Rules need to be changed to where if you haven't got a Championship by year 6 you go to 450 and if you cant make it there move to the porch!
