Pioneer? I guess he helped pioneer freestyle a little. He definitely did some cool shit through Deegan, but pioneered? Pioneers were the original “Crusty Demons of Dirt Posse”1993-1994-1995 Carey Hart, Mad Mike Jones, Pastrana, Metzger, McGrath. Enslow and others. Those guys pioneered Freestlye. Twitch didn’t join mulisha till like 1998-1999. He helped to further popularize freestyle later on but in the beginning it was other guys who initially pioneered it.
