Definitely give the edge to SM for the most part, Mattel really did skimp when/where ever they could. I will say though, it's really disappointing they blundered the flames on Grave Digger(Even the 1:24) so badly especially considering they got them right on the Fire edition and it looks immaculate, really bummed I'll have to pick up more Diggers once they fix it(Great marketing right there, I'll give 'em that), hopefully this year or next. I agree with the sentiment chrome rims need to go away, minus the colored chrome which I don't mind too much, it's a fresh take at least but gray is clearly the best/most realistic. Hoping we see more beadlock printing in 1:64 scale, it's a small yet extremely noticeable touch that adds an extra layer of depth and realism. Would be pretty cool if they could incorporate the functioning suspension on the 1:64's like the 1:24's, it's just that little plastic tab so I can't imagine it'd be too difficult to accomplish, though that's more a future suggestion than anything. I for one am glad they decided to favor realism over branding in regards to them not placing their logo(Minus GD) on the trucks, to me that shows their hearts are in the right place at least. And I find it odd SM gave the exclusive deal to Walmart for the Fire & Ice even though it seems like Target is the one really pushing their product, I've already nabbed all of what I wanted from Mix 3 because of Target(Including 2 ETL Trainers) while most Walmarts are just now getting Mix 3 and hardly ever restocking the Fire & Ice trucks(Just need Soldier, Thunder Ice and Rotty Fire and I've completed the set). One thing to note, I noticed on the ramp inside the package of the Fire & Ice trucks it has names listed as copyright of FELD, one interesting name I saw happened to be Grinder, which made me wonder if perhaps we could ever see a custom rendition of it(Sans AAP logos) made by SM? Maybe on that glorious trophy tooling? I'd love to see that and while they're at it, why not make a Blue Thunder on that same tooling? This is obviously inspired based on the fact they made a custom gold Max-D, figured why not throw some in the ring? Oh, I have to ask, what are your thoughts/opinions on the old Funline Muscle Machines monster trucks of the early 2000's? More specifically, the 2003 and 2004 series that featured real trucks that Mattel weren't able to make at the time like Monster Patrol, Bearfoot, Bigfoot, Snake Bite, Raminator, Rammunition, Rampage, etc. I happen to adore these trucks and own several, not the movie deco ones, the actual proper paintjobs. Always wondered why they weren't around longer/more successful, they even featured accurate body toolings with officially licensed logos and badges(Chevy, Ford, and Dodge) and the steering/suspension was actually quite interesting. They also scale up much like the SM trucks while the Mattel trucks look to be a bit smaller. I have to say, both '03 and '04 editions of Monster Patrol and the '03 Red and Green Snake Bites are the most prized of those MM trucks I own.

I’m not sure about Scooby-Doo! with 100% certainly. I know there was a prototype of it shown on a Spin Master branding commercial so it might happen later this year or in 2020. Stay tuned!

While the new waves haven't come in yet in my podunk town..lol, the Wal-Mart had a huge end cap of wave one so nothing new will come until those sell down. That's one huge problem here. They either get squat or way too much of something. Plus they don't exactly stock the diecast with any excitement. Target is my go to. The bummer is Target doesn't have the Fire and Ice series and I have only found the Yeti 2pk. There was another one there on Friday but I passed since I already had it. Again I love the videos, and your up to the minute content and info on these trucks is extremely helpful. Oh as for Target I actually found a Training truck. The stocker was super cool and shockingly he scanned EVERY item I was looking for to see if they had any in the backroom. Hot Wheels Monsters for BIGFOOT....NOPE 😢. But he did have a fresh Monster Jam case and I scored the El Toro Loco Chase, the Earth Shaker(AWESOME TRUCK), and a new Megladon. This one is more grey and IMO looks better than the first releases. So far the Meg has been my favorite, 3 so far. I was also stoked to find a 3lb. bag of Kinetic Sand in a dirt color, not purple. I have some crazy ideas for racing. I need to stop buying trucks and Hot Wheels and get another good camera. Anyway thanks and keep JAMMIN.

Stocking really seems to be a major issue with Walmart, they just keep piling in Mix 1 and 2 for SM and hardly ever restock the Fire & Ice trucks, only missing 3 of the singles and the set is complete. They also have no rhyme or reason as to how they stock the Hot Wheels trucks either. They started getting the Bigfoot mix in and now they're stocking the mix before it again, All Beefed Up EVERYWHERE, it haunts me. Already got Sriracha, Tiger Shark, and Boneshaker(Only ones from the mix I wanted outside of Bigfoot itself) but no Bigfoot in sight, ever. Looking like I'll have to cave and get it off Ebay since apparently everyone is beating me to the pegs somehow. Took me forever to find the ETL Training truck, happened to get lucky and find an endcap at a Target that had 2, picked up both. Spent nearly a month hunting them down, seems like the West Coast and Central US got them first and the East Coast finally just got them. I had employees tearing open fresh boxes for me looking for them and not a single one yet there were tons of Zamac GD's and Brodozers everywhere. As I said in another comment, I don't get why SM gave the exclusive contract to Walmart for the Fire & Ice when it seems like Target is the one getting their product out there. Walmart has been better for HWMT's while Target has been the go-to for the SM trucks, just seems kinda backwards to me. The one good thing about one of my local Walmarts is they did stock SM Mix 1 a few days early(Right before New Year's) and I managed to get a phone number Bounty Hunter off the pegs. I had no idea what I was buying at that point, they had multiple. Kicking myself forever since I didn't get more of them, I even noted the number seemed out of place on a die-cast and sure enough, it wasn't supposed to be there.
