Simply unbelievable. A lot of people make miniature houses and stuff but I was mind blown the moment you pulled out cement... Even after, when you placed each brick one by one... That was simply phenomenal. This wasn't a miniature model or something, it was a real freaking house made from cement and bricks. Just wonderful. Wow.

This is next level. He actually used real construction materials and steps. I work in fabrication and getting all those measurements and dimensions to line up perfectly like this must’ve taken forever.
@seignee3 жыл бұрын
thats sick!!! i love watching the process to be honest, im not the type of person to have the patience to be able to measure everything perfectly, but i looooove building mini dioramas, so i tend to stick to more nature-y types of models where i can improvise a bit more.
@user-ur5fz5ol8n3 жыл бұрын
No, fabrication is a lot more finite without any room for forgiveness. Conceptualizing, planning layout, and drafting and understanding why or why not something should be the way it is while simultaneously following all proper laws and codes is the difficult part about this. He had already made an entire blue print for this building before constructing it. Architects are mad talented man, but most of this video is more or less general construction on a miniature level. It’s not that what we see here isn’t impressive. What’s impressive is this is what would be the easiest/funnest part of this man’s job. That’s the impressive part.
@carlah95583 жыл бұрын
In architecture college, we have at least 1 week or 4 days to present something like this, as our project, despite studying calculus, history of architecture, its normal for us to work on artistry, maths, science to develop functional structures, and also read and develop our literature minds that gives us inspiration. To do this, its what we normally do on a semester. We tend to do even bigger projects such as as urbanistics models, stadiums etc. Using this materials. Its really entertaining.

It's a great model, but don't disrespect the construction team please. Guys are working hard in harsh condition and use their skills to transform the model into the real, fully functional building, that's another thing than doing miniatures in a cosy workshop.
@poeticalllarmy78553 жыл бұрын
@Kanra Smith I know it was kind of a "joke", I just wanted to point out that the constructions workers should be as much considered for their works on a fully functional building than the overpaid architect having fun doing a decorative miniature. And "that was just a joke" isn't enough anymore. Jokes on skin colors are still racism, jokes on women are still sexist, you know what I mean.
@poeticalllarmy78553 жыл бұрын
@Kanra Smith Now that's disrespect for true if you find that's a justified low skill low paid job. That's a team working together, the architect pull off the plan, the workers build it, don't get me wrong I understand the work and education level of an architect, but that's low spirit to say what you just say. Companies doing it for cheap make bad work and you know it, a team of skilled and qualified professionals in construction have a cost. One is able to build a Lego by herself so she spit on people who are expert in their domains! Come on show me your skill, build a full electrical circuit for a 10 floor building, put together the pipes, and weld them, if it's so easy and cheap work. That's a stupid comment you just made, and even if I want to agree with you on jokes being OK if you don't mean it, I won't, go tell a slavery joke in the middle of Harlem kid, you'll understand that even if you didn't meant it, it will offense peoples.

@Jason Tan I honestly love every second of it, but considering all things I think it's hard, but only because there's a big workload of projects and things to do at the same time during the course, so only go for archi if you're really into it, otherwise you'll just be stressed out for no reason. What you'll do after graduation depends a lot... There's a big diversity of options to choose, but it depends on where you live too. Here where I live I see most people going for the safety of small buildings since the demand for that kind of work is more consistent, but many others work as teachers, with big buildings, urbanism, landscapes etc so it really depends on what you like, the place you live and how dedicated you are (((: I hope this helps with your questions 💜

For me I do enjoy studio classes, I think it is fun and challenging, however there are some classes that I don’t particularly like, for example, technical drawings, it is important though to study that. But still 😬. I agree with if you really like and want to be architect because some of my friends didn’t finish 1st semester because they think it’s too much

And adding to that the multiple rewatches of Parasite in order to learn each and every corner of the house, the color of the walls and tiles, the number of glasses and lights, etc. I mean it's so damn accurate! Except the front door which in the movie was orange with a black strap while here it's brown with a silver strap. Still, a brilliant job done 😊👏🏻
