If you want to see what an amazing voice Courtney has check out her cover songs when she was only 14. Someone You Loved is my favorite but Sign Of The Times is great also along with Sucker and Old Town Road. I'm an early 70's rock fan and Courtney's voice reminds me so much of the greatest of Rock singers.😊

Courtney was also invited to Carnegie Hall in May of this year and sung Piece of My Heart and she nailed it. It's also on youtube. Please check it out.

She also performed at Carnegie Hall doing Janis Joplin's "Piece of My Heart". She received a standing ovation. Try to get the full length version if you can.

Hi. Great reaction. So cool that you've come across Courtney's music. She is amazing. A true generational level talent. I noticed that you were trying to classify her style, and that's really hard to do. You can't tell from just one song, but not only does Courtney have one of the greatest voices in music, but one of the most versatile. Whether it's Rock, R&B, Funk, Soul, Ballads or more, Courtney's music is equally as exquisite. She'll even often do multiple style changes in the same song and her transitions are flawless. She even had an opera clip go viral. Artists usually have their comfort zones. With that zone, they are great. Outside of it, not so much. We've yet to see where Courtney's comfort zone ends. To listen to her sing a ballad is to truly appreciate what a gorgeous voice she has. If you're going to be reacting to more Courtney music, you've got me as a subscriber. I can't wait. Although you mentioned Courtney was on AGT, here is a little more history about Courtney for you and your subscribers: Although she had been singing for a number of years before, Courtney first rose to worldwide fame when she appeared on the 2018 season of America' Got Talent (AGT) when she was just 13. Her audition went viral and now has over 1 billion overall on line views. Courtney herself is closing in on 3 billion views. She has die-hard fans from virtually every country in the world. While on AGT, Courtney sang exclusively classic rock from the 60's and 70's by the likes of James Brown, Tina Turner and Janis Joplin. Courtney was so great on AGT that she was almost immediately signed to a record deal at Syco/Arista records (Sony Music). After AGT, those that knew her from only there, viewed her as this fabulous stage dominating rocker, which she surely is. But, she is so, so much more. As I mentioned above, her range is mind boggling. So in 2019, she released an EP called the 'Cover Sessions', where she took some of the biggest recent hits across different genres, and re-invented them into her vision of the way they could have been sung. They were all sensational. The purpose was to highlight both her incredible vocal versatility and her off the charts creativity. All four of those EP songs (Old Town Road, Sucker, Sign of the Times, Someone You Loved) are available on her KZbin channel and would make great future reactions. Suffice it to say that none of those covers sound anything like the originals. Courtney re-invented each. Her creativity is off the charts. Courtney went through hell to start getting her original music out. First, her label, for years trying to turn her into something she didn’t want to be. Another pop princess. Can you imagine that magnificent voice you just heard being limited to just pop, but there’s more. Of course, there was Covid, which delayed her album release for more than two years. Then her label was sold, creating even more chaos. At the beginning of 2023, as soon as she could, she walked away from her label and went independent. Courtney has a huge song library that she hasn't been able to release because of the reasons described above, but she has shared many of them, in whole or in part with fans, and they are all sensational. She is such a powerhouse as a songwriter. Since she has gone independent in 2023, she has already released five mind blowing originals. Her first three originals were non-rock. They were 'Breakable', a gorgeous gritty ballad, 'That Girl Don't Live Here', an amazing uptempo jazzy number with a touch of almost 1940's Swing and 'Call Me Back', which will rip your heart out every time you hear it. . All are available on her KZbin channel. The fourth release, 'Monsters', that you reacted to here, was her first step back into her rock persona. The last was 'Christmas Rocks', an uptempo, rocky Christmas song that simply will not allow you to stay still when listening. When Courtney is in control of her own destiny, amazing things happen. Now that she's independent, she has said to expect a release every month or two. She also just finished the recording for her debut album, and based on what she has shared to date, it will be epic. So buckle up. It's going to be an incredible ride. Album drop is to be somewhere around first of the year. Most recent big news in Courtney world is that on April 29th, the New York Pops honored Clive Davis with a huge concert at Carnegie Hall. Everyone who is anyone in music was there. Clive personally invited Courtney to open the show. She shared the stage with Barry Manilow, Dionne Warwick, Melissa Manchester, Busta Rhymes and many others associated with Clive. She blew off the roof and doors and brought the entire audience to their feet at Carnegie in a standing ovation to an unbelievable, stage dominating rendition of Janis Joplin's 'Piece of my Heart'. Janis was Clive's first signee. It was mind boggling.

Courtney has many sides. She can go all out rock like no one else especially on a big stage which she did recently in NYC at Carnegie Hall Performing this Janis Joplin cover for Clive Davis's tribute concert with lots of other legends who Clive signed over the years. "Piece of my Heart" kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXWwap2Pltt_p6M This video is combined with a live cell video. And she also has a softer yet still guttural vocals (yes that word has been used to express how she sings at times before), singing a number or originals "Breakable" kzbin.info/www/bejne/eoDNqoZrrJaCpNE ballad type songs and also covers of ballads like "Sign of the Times" kzbin.info/www/bejne/rmqzmZxsjteaaM0 I could go on and list a number of very different type songs that always get people excited over how good she really is. Maybe one more I should list is "That girl don't live here" which is very jazzy/swing/rockish type vibe. Hard to isolate this one into any category. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKqsfYNqebWDitE That's why people love her so much. She has so many faces of musical vibes, yet you'll know it's Courtney singing everytime you hear her voice. Even the established stars get excite for her, especially on stage. She's so passionate when she performs. The timing of her stardom got interupted after AGT due to many factors. Maybe being so young at the time was a good thing it did. Although she did learn how ruthless people in music can be, as they wanted to change her into another pop princess, but she stood firm. Some of her Lyrics reflect some of her past relationships with them. Btw, even if that AGT viral audition gets blocked I suggest watching it anyway. Also her Voice kids audition from 2017 here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l4bKnJhjit6XjtE

Courtney is an absolute original, which is why she has such a great fan base. She loves the soul genre (J.J., James Brown, etc.) but is also a true rocker, with jazz, blues, etc.,maybe even some punk. I think she is absolute phenomenal!

Courtney was on AGT in 2018 and on AGT Champions in 2019 when she was 13 and 14 years old respectively and had a record deal, but then COVID hit and the label dropped her. Now she's 19 and an independent artist who is producing her own music and videos and has her first album in post production and it should be coming out by the end of the year 🤞. I requested this song because I'm a rock n roll relic and I haven't heard a female rock singer like her since Janis Joplin. A song of Courtney's that Hannah might like better is a song called Breakable which is more of a ballad type song. Her roots are in rock n roll, but she has a good variety in her music. Thanks for doing this one for an old hippie. 😂 Btw, her AGT audition video from 2018 has been watched over 200 million times and is worth a view. Puff puff pass. 🙌🤙✌️

Courtney's original songs show how versatile she is. Her vocal range and control is excellent and her stage presences is phenomenal . Please react to her Carnegie Hall, performance of Piece OF My Heart. Clive Davis invited her to open the show. The produces wanted Miley Cyrus to cover it but Clive insisted on Courtney doing it. There are two videos of it, on is full but part of the sound quality isn't good. Also, please react to Call Me Back, Christmas Rocks and That Girl Don't Live Here Anymore. You all will love her . None of her original songs are copyrighted. Kevin Bowie is her producer and co writer. From Chris.
