Like a series that can ask deep philosophical questions like: "Who would win in a fight between ghosts and aliens?" Love a series that can promptly answer: "Ghosts, by biting the aliens' dicks off." Great and literal balls to the wall start oozing so much style and personality, Saru was a great fit for this. That concluding punchline is as funny as it is sweet.

I love the direction of this anime so much. The transitions between shots, the thematic colors, the POV shifts in the UFO scene, it's all great. If they keep this up I think it'll be one of my favorite adaptations :D
