I work as an illustrator b so I use windsor and newton and art spectrum but I have to say I dont mind monte marte I qiute enjoy them both watercoour and acrylic,I also agree on paper,beginners would do well to use a think canson paper,I liked your video thanks for sharing.

That is also my frustration with using cheap student/ kids grade water colour. I find the pigment weak/ faint. I had to work really hard to get any deep strong colours.
