StayCool I know I'm not exactly the best person for this to come from (Since i'm Bronze 4), but since I've began experimenting with Luden's. My standard build has become something along the lines of: Morello, Tier 2 Boots (Sorc, Mobility, Mercury, or whatever I feel is needed[Explanation below]), Luden's, deathcap OR void staff (depending on enemy/whether I think I am ahead enough/whatnot), deathcap/void staff (Depending on what I didn't get), and like you said, last item depending on enemy team). Boot explanations: Sorcerer's Shoes (Magic Pen): No explanation needed, pretty standard on all mages. Mobility Boots: A risky choice I make sometimes when i'm ahead and other lanes aren't, roam a lot. Mercury Treads (Magic Resist): Against someone like Leblanc or some other high burst AP laner who counters me. Ninja Tabi (Armor): Only done this once, and it was against a strange team (Zed mid, Talon top, Yasuo ADC [Yeah, I know. Weird)] Cooldown Boots: Been experimenting with getting this every so often, I personally don't feel like they're necessary. Berserker's Greaves (Attack speed): AD Ahri... I guarantee you are doing it wrong.

StayCool Thanks for the advice against Leblanc ^_^ I always play very passively when I'm against her or some champion like Zed and poke a lot. I'll have to try what you said in the future. A thing I do sometimes when I feel confident in my ability to face a Leblanc after level 2 is always keep a clear path between me and her. As most Leblanc's in Bronze are predictable when they 'w' (I'm unsure about higher as I never faced one above Bronze despite my brief stay in Silver during the preseason), and you can just use charm the instant they 'q' you since their 'w' is sure to follow. If I may ask, any tips against Zed? I know Ahri supposedly 'counters' him since she can charm the moment he appears behind her, however I have trouble with that as I have a habit of panic charming or the zed will use his w to get to reposition instantly.

StayCool Hence the reason I put the quotation marks, I've just had some of my higher elo friends say that to me (Plat, Gold area. Highest is Plat 3). I know about rushing Zhonya's, as the is almost always necessary against a Zed. I've only faced a few Zed's in ranked, and had a three different results: 1.) They destroy me all game, 2.) They're bad and picked to 'counter', or 3.) I manage to survive and CS enough to take them out easily. Thanks for the tips ^_^ Any other advice?

ItzNxls Luden's is a fantastic Item on ahri, it brings back a lot of the burst that she had with DFG. I like starting morello, then building the 3 120 ap items, and finishing with either a rylais or void staff depending on the game.
