Der Einsatz des Profils sorgt für die kontrollierte Wasserableitung vom Fenster und schützt die Unterkonstruktion vor eindringendem Wasser. Der seitliche Abschluss erfolgt mit hochwertigen Seitenteilen aus PVC (Material LuranS). Um die Trommelgeräusche bei Regen zu reduzieren, sollten auf der Unterseite der Fensterbank Antidröhnstreifen eingesetzt werden. Für den wasserdichten Anschluss der Fensterbank an das Fenster sollte der Dichtgummi verwendet werden. Die Befestigung erfolgt mittels Fensterbankschrauben aus Edelstahl.
