Here's my Montale Sensual Instinct Fragrance Review. Sensual Instinct by Montale was a love at first sniff when I first smelled it in LA at Beverly Hils Perfumery then I immediately reached out to ask to review this fragrance. Even though it hints at Baccarat Rouge that lasts short but then again it also hints at Montale's very own Intense Cafe but again different. This is fireworks come alive in the form of a fragrance. All the spices and gourmand notes explode and you experience this cornucopia of wonderful notes. It's stop you in the tracks kind of a fragrance and a love at first sniff kind of fragrance. Thanks for another outstanding review. I have not tried this one yet. The only Montale I have added to my collection so far is Aoud Lagoon. I liked how you changed it up and brought the visual references in from fireworks to describe the experience. I definitely want to try this one as you described it as a less jammy rose.

A few months ago I went to Bloomingdale’s in Beverly Hills to try a sample of Montales Intense café. My husband came along as I generally do not buy fragrances that he does not like. Upon testing out intense café I was disappointed and my husband couldn’t stand it. The sales rep proceeded to allow us to test other fragrances by the same house. We tried probably 20 or more. Once my husband smelled sensual Instinct he gave the bottle to the sales rep and asked her to ring it up! We were both without a doubt very pleased with this selection. I will be wearing it on Valentine’s Day ❤️

I haven't tried this one but I have tried Intense Cafe and Honey Aoud by Montale and I really love both of those. I love Montale in general because they offer some unique affordable niche fragrances packaged in really cool unique bottles.

I bought Intense Cafè twice and Sensual Instinct will be my next autumn -winter fragrance. I honestly think Baccarat smells as a commercial fragrance, while Sensual Instinct is a typical Montale Fragrance with many many notes mixed in a way that you smell everything all at once, not in a time sequence. I prefer when there is a sort of time sequence of notes, indeed last years I have worn Byredo fragrances which are more sophisticatedly structured . I don' t know why but all people I met always appreciate when I am wearing some Montale perfumes, so I consider Montale fragrances as perfect to seduce rather than fragrances that i enjoy to try and smell when I am at home alone.

I had no fragrances from Montale, I don't know why, for some reason the house just never pulled me in, but today I was at Bloomingdale's, at Lenox in Atlanta, reached for the first Montale and it was sexual instinct and I purchased it immediately! Hey Sebastian! Great as usual! Just a small question. What is it with the cap/sprayer on this bottle? I have other Montales and they all come with the dangling clip that serves as a lock to prevent accidental pressing. The Sensual Instinct I bought is similar to yours I see, where that clip is fixed through the sprayer. It can't be removed. Or can It? Best!!!!

Sebastian great video...huge Montale fan. I wanted to get this, based upon the notes you mentioned. However, on fragrantica and Parfumo the notes are Roasted coffee Rose Oakmoss Amber Cedarwood...which is totally different. Did they change the notes???
