I retired and moved to Montana August 2021. Best decision ever. I live 98 miles from the East glacier national park entrance. I've driven the "Going to the Sun Road" twice. One of the most amazing beautiful places to see. I literally am smiling, crying tears of joy seeing it all. Teton Pass ski resort is stunning area too. 10 miles of gravel road before you arrive at the ski resort is so gorgeous like glacier is. I've been there 6 times so far, once in summer, once in Fall, now 4 times in winter to go snow skiing. Views up top of ski lift is breath taking. I've also driven over to Whitefish area after going through the going to the Sun Road from east to west entrance,...was only 20 more miles. It's very beautiful there as well. I've never seen a state left with so much natural beauty. I can drive for 100 miles and literally see 5 cars on highway. It's so nice to not be on crowded freeways anymore. I can't wait to explore more of this state I now call home. I can honestly say I will be here till I die. I'm the happiest I've ever been.

As a 13 year old girl who lives in montana it really makes me happy to see all these beutiful mountains right in front of me and I go up to the mountains every year to ski so it makes it so much better I would never take this home for granted it’s a magical place!

Never got to go to Glacier National park but went to Montana making of my many dreams come true and I got to see one more of my favorite US states that represent one of the most gorgeous places I have seen. I too moved to Montana 2012.....I live in Evergreen Montana next to Glacier Park and White Fish Kalispell area!!!In fact I just moved to Evergreen from Yaak Montana where I lived since 2012!!!its a tiny town in the Middle of the woods up in the Mountains with about 150 people!!!!I lived right on the Yaak River!!!It was my Parents Place!!!!I actually was taking care of my Father for the past 6 years do to a stroke....to make a long story short my Parents actually past away in the Yaak....one had an aneurysm the other had to many strokes....it was sad because this place was there dream......I had to sell there place up there do to no jobs anywhere even close to there!!I moved to Evergreen from there for work.....now it's just memories in my mind the Yaak.....Start a new life with my son here in Kalispell//....I love Montana and my Parents did too....Forever Montana!!!!!!!!!

I often wonder why my ancestors settled in Louisiana instead of traveling farther north. I hate where I live and want a new life so bad. Montana is where I would love to go.
