Speters94 thanks we were mostly there early in the season and it was warm so the mule deer weren’t out much, back then I was using a 7mm

Killing an elk by the road priceless especially in the MB areas !! Nice satellite bull, that's a good bull for that area. I like to hunt that area in late season for big muledeer. The only thing I hate about the MB area's are the constant harassment from the Montana fish and wildlife, they can be real buggers. They like to park way up on top, and spot hunters, this spooks all the game. Then as soon as you shoot, you got two trucks up your butt. MFW&P has ruined a lot of my clients hunts by spying on my camps. All they got to do is stop us when we leave and check us then, or come to my camps in the evening when were there, dont be crawling around in the hills and spooking deer and elk for miles.
