Her enunciation is like that for aesthetic reasons. If you listen to her after a while your ears catch up and you can hear her clearly. She’s also Italian

She is white - Italians are white lol. She is also naturally VERY pale, she just tans heavily and has lip fillers and extensions. When she was on Broadway in ‘13’ back in the day you can see what she actually looks like naturally.

Her new album “Positions” is fully r&b so thats why the title track has an r&b sound. Ariana has been singing with an r&b influence her entire career, she even has multiple r&b songs in her career. She was signed by an r&b legend and grew up listening to the r&b/pop greats. She’s gotten to the point where she can sing what she wants with no fuss and her end-goal was always r&b. She just had to shift into it slowly. The enunciation is reminiscent of r&b...you can tell it’s a stylistic choice bc she was singing on Broadway as a child and when she sings theater for fun her enunciation is easier to understand for older people

Not sure you guys will see this comment but yeah Ariana is a huge advocate for lgbtq+ rights and is very vocal about human rights and is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in, tell you who she’s voting for and helps people on Instagram how to contact their state senators and legislators to fight for what’s right. At her last concert tour she got many thousands of people signed up to vote! 🤍
