Depends on the evidence. It's not what you know but what you can prove. I didn't see a firearm in any videos so he could have just denied it was him shooting. And if the arguments were mutual with both threatening each other I doubt that would be prosecuted. Remember, if a cop or Sheriff won't press charges you can always go to the court and file them yourself but the standard for conviction will still apply. As for him not talking, that's his right to have an attorney present or say nothing at all. However I want to know who the friend was. They didn't do their job until they had a camera crew up their ass. Shame on them. They never should have let it get that out of hand. I feel terrible for the neighbors - they lost their friend, their home, and all they found comforting in that little home they made for themselves all because of these evil people.
@LotsofLisa3 жыл бұрын
I saw this story on the ID Channel’s “Fear Thy Neighbor.” That show really makes you reconsider if it’s worth starting an issue with your neighbors. Easements are the gateway to neighbor hell.

So a couple buys land, moves in, then starts shit with the neighbors. Apparently they didn't realize that theres probably going to be a huge difference between how people react in the suburbs compared with how country folk would react. Typical narcissists (the couple who are pissed about people using the easement) start crap then blame other people's reactions on someone else. Looking forward to nxt years trial. ✌😎🤘

You know I hate the "defund the police" movement. But you get so many useless departments and you wonder if at least these places shouldn't be investigated themselves... That sheriff looked like a useless whimp...
@yeahgirl113 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Some police forces SHOULD be defunded though, like this sheriff's office. They were completely useless and that guy would probably still be alive if there weren't such stupid law enforcement in place. Those people could've killed off that asshole giving everyone trouble and lived better lives without police in the way.

I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night knowing these crazy people could barge in my house with blazing guns. I’m sure Mike had rifles himself for hunting as he had wolves. Because of crime watch daily, this put pressure on the sheriffs office, and he got arrested for murder his trial is this coming January. That’s why I love true crime daily, they not only bring cases like this to our awareness, but expose the police department as well which puts pressure on them to do their fricken job for once.

What more proof do they need? If they actually witnessed the murder would they say they weren't sure and still have to investigate? Why are there even police if they can't and don't do their job. If there are three people in a room and one of them turns up dead it stands to reason that the other two had something to do with it. Total incompetence.

This kind of thing is my biggest worry. I'm a very introverted, keep-to-myself kind of person, and I like it that way. I have a neighbor now who's a little too pushy and friendly for my liking. Once her husband and some other men in the neighborhood were helping my husband with a bunch of yardwork (which was fine, we asked) but then I get a text from her saying, "hey I'm out front trimming your bushes, come tell me how short you want them." Like excuse me????? I didn't ask you to do that, at all. She constantly shoves her way into the other neighbors' lives like that under the ruse of being "helpful." I can't stand people like that. I finally had to have a huge talk with her about boundaries. Needless to say, she wasn't happy and got very offended.
@ShayLikeButter3 жыл бұрын
None of this makes sense. All of the neighbors were scared of this man. There is video footage of him harassing and shooting at Mike. Authorities were notified and aware..... (which is why they told the couple to leave or they'll die to) Mike lived there before him, yet he was allowed to move in and take ownership of a road to multiple homes. So Mike was murdered literally for coming and going from his home. This is insane and I don't think it's Leon's first victim.
