Thanks, good quick summary. I would have liked to see the main compartment being opened more to see how easy it is to access something near the bottom without having to pull everything out and dump it onto the ground (the issue I have with my current backpack).

Great suggestion, we will look to include this in the future. The main compartment does give easy access due to the wide mouth opening, hope that helps!

@@montaneofficial Thank you. I've since bought a Trailblazer 18 pack AND a Trailblazer 30!! The most comfortable and best designed packs I've used in all my 40+ years of backpacking. Well done, Montane!

You cold have mentioned the two lower harness side pockets as well, which were the deal clincher for me and others.

Just purchased but mine only has one pole fitting side, dont have any fastening clips like you have on this pack, should i have been supplied these with the bag?

Hi, sorry for the confusion! These packs only come with 1 pole fitting as standard.

I have the Trailblazer 30 and my 500ml flasks (from a different brand) won't fit in the harness pockets. Can I know what model of Montane flasks fits as it's shown in the video? Thanks!

@megadirettore1, which are the flasks that you are using? and why they don't fit? Is because they are too large? and the mouthpiece is the part of the flask that stays outside the pocket?

@@joangongaarnal2336 I've LITERALLY tried something like 14 different brands of flask with this pack. Almost every single 500ml flask stick out quite a bit when completely full, especially the kind of "slender" flash like the Salomon. This put a lot of stress on the zippers, especially with the bouncing that happen while running. The only flask that I've found fit completely inside the pocket are the ones from Black Diamond and the ones from Salewa. I haven't had the chance to try the Montane flask (unable to find them in Italy), that people say would fit nicely, but from what I've seen from various pictures, they are exactly identical from the Salewa ones. This probably because all those flasks are made by the same producer (Hydrapak), with just a personalized shape and brand print on them. In fact, the flask from Salewa are the ones that fit better than any other, but at the end of the day I've chose the ones from Black Diamond, that fit a little tight, but they have a 42mm opening (which is compatible with Salmon XA filter). Anyway, a real shame this design of the front pockets. Really too tight and almost unusable other than for a few snacks or little objects, that usually i prefer to keep in other place.

@@megadirettore1 Thanks for your response! I have Aonijie Flasks. I am looking for a 20L backpack built with resistant nylon, water bladder compartment, 2 soft flask compartments. Shouldn't be that hard, but I can't find a single backpack that fits into these requirements... The montane Trailblazer 18 would be perfect with better front pockets,... a shame. Thanks again for your complete response
