#As of Feb 4, 2024, there are total of 8 stores that support duty-free shopping. I got the list from Montbell, however it's subject to change so it's only a reference.

is the one in Sapporo the outlet mall one? Lots of reviews say there is no tax free-- unless that has changed. Thanks in advance!

I'm not 100% confirmed. g.co/kgs/jSwPRJc I think it's the one in Mitsui outlet mall. The store doesn't do tax free, you need to use the mall tax refund center for it. I sent an email to Montbell for enquiry. Sapporo Kitahiroshima store supports duty-free, that's replied from Montbell, I guess you need to use the mall's duty free center for that. The list of stores increased to 8 now. Happy shopping, Montbell is good brand.
