A nice introduction to Monte Carlo simulation in R, congratulations on that. I only lacked some deeper explanation on the process and formulas of your linear regression example. How did you simulate a linear regression with true_intercept and true_slope predefined? Last but not least, I would suggest you to produce a line plot of the estimated value of pi as the number of simulated values grows during the simulation... You can collect that inside your for loop and then plot it at the end...
