Just looking at these pictures I can smell the Coppertone, french fries and burgers. My grandmother would take us when we visited. I can clearly hear her voice calling for the locker boy after we spent a long hot day at the pool. Such fun times. Thanks for sharing this video!

This brings back so many memories! I remember going to Asbery Park with my parents many years ago, who are now long gone. I think I remember a big sign when entering the pool for diving or swimming lessons. The pool was unique because it was one of the very few salted pools.

Monte Carlo pool was such a wonderful place. Too many memories to love. Such a special place and so happy I got to go there. Fyi. Do you remember the cabanas and rest rooms with ultra violet toilet seats?

I worked as a lifeguard at MC for two years. That's me on the stone bench. All these faces and names are familiar. Also in the scouts with Tim,knew several Corbos, I have lots of stories. Everyone had hair then. Thanks for posting this.

I worked at the MC Pool from either 1958 or '59 until around 1964. I took tickets in the entryway tunnel into the pool & then parked cars with Sheffi across the street at the lot as well as cleaning the pool in the evenings. I recognize a number of faces but have forgotten all the names except for my old buddies, the Rufs & Tim H. who worked the snack bar. Can anyone put names with any other faces in these pics? Excellent old photos, especially considering they're now 55 years old.

Hi I worked with Tim and Jim Ruff etc in the snack bar in 1959 and than for the next three years as a locker boy. I remember Tim telling me he sang with a group called the Criterions (or the Crescendos?) and they recorded a song called Julie. By the way, my brother-in-law said that his brother, Nick Paduano was in the same class as Tim at St Rose High School. Does Tim remember me, I am the guy in the red shirt and the white jersey with Dom written on it. Thanks for contacting me, I was hoping that Tim would eventually get to see these pictures.
