One of the most beautiful scenic tours of the Lake Iseo area.
The ascent of Monte Guglielmo or Gölem if you prefer is not really simple, you can also climb from Caregno, certainly steeper and with the final stretch to do with bike behind; in our case the starting point is Zone, location of Lake Iseo which is located at 684 mt s.l.m. and then we climb from that side.
It is much more pedalable than the climb of Caregno apart from some final tear. The climb commits us for about two hours but when we reach the top of the "Monumento al Redentore" (1948mt s.l.m.) the view is something spectacular. From here you can admire the Bernina glacier, the Presolana, Monte Baldo, the unmistakable tip of the Cervino and the lakes of Iseo, Endine and Garda.
I am sincere, the trails of the other side in my opinion are much more interesting if you are a lover of beautiful descents, it is worthwhile to see both scenarios.
Good Pedal!
