Monte Rosa Skymarathon 2022

I have been told for a long time that @monterosaskymarathon is a race I should do. Last Saturday, I did it with my best friend @katrine_villumsen. It was special to me to do this race with her. We love to spend time in the mountains together.
My preparation has been running Ledro and Livigno skyrace and spending almost two weeks at altitude. @katrine_villumsen has spent those weeks alone with our daughter, who wakes up every hour during the night and has been working full time.
I'm very impressed by how Katrine performed at this race. With almost no training and no altitude acclimatisation, she manages to make all the tough cut-off times (more than half of the teams do not make the cut-off).
It was a fantastic adventure to run this race. A tough alpine skyrace. I hope to come back to do more editions of this race.
