I've never used the m3 but I have used the normal Montecs and they were super accurate

Good to know that there are some broad heads that don't need me switch up my existing field tip arrow setup.

See for me the answer was no.. they don't fly the same.

So I "accidentally " ordered some m3s. I've wanted some for a while but thats another story. They should be in tomorrow. All the videos I've seen, yours is by far the most entertaining!

@@AlvinsVideoStuff I've had it in my Amazon cart for months. I was on the fence about buying 3 broadheads for $45, I mean, people have killed things with way less right? So I believe "shot placement is key" and I was just going to run the $8 3 blade Allen's from Walmart. I was ordering some stuff for my sons birthday party this weekend and just hit buy all 🤣😂

@@AlvinsVideoStuff as far as durability, the M3s will smoke the Allen's. But we shall see! I'll keep you posted

I had killed a buck this last November with an M3. Long story short, I shot him at a hard quarting away angle, he may have jumped. Or I jumped idk but it went though his hind quarter, the angle was good and penetrated a lung.

Nice man. Unfortunately mine are still dry. Im a failure of a hunter, but i have become a fairly good hiker haha. Its currently spring turkey season where i am so im hoping to cut some time and make it out. I still love the M3s… someday theyll be useful hahaha

I had to use that bandaid while putting on some G5 striker X’s. And some super glue and a make shift tourniquet haha. They are surgical sharp.

Hell yeah they are, and i guess that's the good thing. I'm starting prep for turkey season, and everytime I walk by the broad heads i swear they wink at me and all i can think about is my own bloodbath ahead haha
@justinlong36213 жыл бұрын
@@AlvinsVideoStuff haha! I cut my finger and started hollering for super glue and took off to my bathroom. My wife said she just followed the blood trail, turns out it wasn’t hard to miss. Especially on my white tile floors!

Everytime you shoot it seems to me like you slightly pull to the right. Maybe Fatigue. Great video though. Thanks for the input

Fatigue sounds good. Some days I'm on, some days I'm not haha. Appreciate the watch man.

At sixty yards that was a pretty good group for the field point. Wind was definitely a factor I think, you were consistently to the right. Do you ever use mechanicals? I gotta get my bow out, haven’t shot it in a couple years. Great video👍

What is your draw weight.. I’ve been seeing a lot of guys with to much weight.. don’t sacrifice the accuracy over the power..
@r1sabotage4 жыл бұрын
IDK, Whats the real difference with a compound bow that's 50# compared to 70# if you can pull it without straining. Once the let off kicks in, it's all the same to me. A 80# let off equates to you holding 14# vs 10#. With traditional yes it matters since you're holding the weight but we're saying 4# difference is effecting him? I have 2 compounds, a 70# and 60# and besides the initial pull, i can't tell the difference in holding weight.

I think the reason why your not staying consistent is becouse you are punching that trigger hard!

Good to see Montec closed the fin holes. The g5's made a ton of noise.

I had one that would whistle quite a bit. They did look cool though haha
