I have dived the Spanish anchor over six times. The sight is great and much adventure along the way. I dive with Kelly's Water Sport - great dive masters, boat captains and crew, safe and great diving gear! I will be back with them sometime after March 2014 to tour their other dive sites.

I was there at Spanish anchors this March. Loved it!! I was staying at Secrets resort and went with Captain's Watersports.

Thats a very good observation. That was her 7th or 8th dive total. Only the fourth dive since her open water check out. Buoyancy control is a very hard skill to perfectly grasp, and I have seen people with fifty to one hundred dives still having trouble. For someone being so new to the hobby, she did a great job, and can only improve from here. Lets not knock someone down. BTW, tec divers frequently kick from the knees to prevent stirring sediment. Dont comment before you know all the facts.

that is pretty good buoyancy control for someone with only 7 or 8 dives. I would have expected her to hit the bottom or crash in to the sides much more than she did. Its not the easiest thing to master.

What a great dive! I would love to do this and see the "real colors". They have much better filters now for the go-pro. I wish you would have spent more time looking at things - but I could see that your diving buddy was pretty new. Thanks for sharing!

+Annette Stevens, Thanks for the comment. This was one of the first times filming for me. Check out some of my other videos in Cozumel, Mexico. I got a pole for the GoPro and tried to take better time filming. Let me know what you think.

At 18:33, they're not diving in buddy pairs? If someone gets into an issue it will take way too long to get help. It's a big safety hazard.

You call them "safe" dive shop when it's the same dive shop that took a total, uncomfortable, novice down how deep? And in a somewhat claustrophobic environment. Seems to me they are like all the other vacation spot shops, just want your money. Better look out for your own a$$.
