Howie good suggestion actually! I have Cortona on my to-do-list and I'll definitely go there one day. Tuscany is at the moment in full lockdown so I'm concentrating here in Lazio. But I'll visit it for sure. Have a nice week!

Love the video, but I wish you would tell something about the places you are going by, if it's not too much to ask. A bit of history. I was plannning to study Italian in Montapulciano, but after 2015 things changed...I'd love to visit M. Italy is so beautiful. Took a 2 week Trafalgar tour in '89. Not enough. Ciao, mia bella Italia!!

Hi Thereza, Thank You for your comment and glad you enjoyed the video! If you click "Subtitles ON" you can read some info about the town and the main locations in the video! I thought about maybe adding also a voice-over narrated story for these towns, but I am still a little bit uncertain how that woule end up. What do you think? Montepulciano is indeed stunning... I'll try to visit lesser-known towns in Tuscany again soon, even though now I'm concentrating on Lazio region, where I live. Who knows... if the channels will grow up, I'll be able to afford to travel more. Thank you for checking up and I hope you enjoy the other walks too. Wish you a nice weekend!

Was this 'route' pre-planned, or did you just drift around? In other words: would you recommend we exactly we-tract your steps? Will be there in two weeks.

@@StillWanderer I'll be there on June 18th, from 9.45 to 12.45, including lunch :-P I think I'll mostly follow your route, maybe with a few less loops. Still looking for a lunch spot with a great view - do you have an opinion on Osteria Del Borgo's terrace?
