I was informed by the hotel just now in 2019 that all rooms have been completely be remodeled and renovated with new furniture and paint for 2019. this makes the hotel more inviting than years past when updates were needed. Looking forward to going this may to the new look of this hotel. it is in area of myrtle beach that is less crowded than most of the hotels on the beach and rooms are suites too.

I was there at the fourth floor in 2022 and fire alarm went off multiple times only two times and it scared me to death but I did like the hotel

there is one comment below that states that this is the worst hotel ever. i would agree. let me start by saying that the staff was great. basically they did the best they could with a $#!ty situation. i took my wife to this hotel for our honey moon. thank god my wife is easy going. first off, the hotel elevators was dirty and smelly. the carpet was horrible. we ended up changing rooms 3 times. the first room smelled like hell. when ever the AC turned on, it smelled like years of mold. the second room had cobwebs and dried up bugs behind the curtain and under the bed. the forth room was the best room. it was a suit that was facing the water. the lobby and eating area needs a major face lift. the pool was nice and the beach was of course amazing. again, the staff was very accommodating. but there is just so much you can do with a old out dated property. if you are a teenager that is going down for a few days for spring break and you do not care about where you are staying and you just want some place to lay your head then this may work out. if you are an older person, couple or family looking for a decent place to stay. do not, i repeat, do not stay here.
