Monterey Car Week 2023- The Quail!

Chris and I are participating in Monterey Car Week 2023 this week.
The plan is to use our Dinos as daily drivers to attend various events (and Chris is showing his Dino in a few events as well).
This video captures us as volunteers and then attendees at the Quail in Carmel Valley. We also interviewed the owner of a prototype Dino we had never heard of!

I remember when Conquerors Italiano was $5 at The Quail. Now it's $500 or more.

Oh it's even worse! Quail tickets, for regular spectators ranged from $950 to $1500, they went up from there (with the highest priced ticket being $17,500 for the "Helicopter Package"). The show was sold out! Concors Italiano spectator tickets were $300. The trick is… VOLUNTEER at the shows!! 😀

We forgot to mention, a little background on the Quail (officially called "The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering" ) From their website: "For ten days each August, connoisseurs and enthusiasts from around the world converge on the Monterey Peninsula to celebrate the ultimate in automotive design, engineering and camaraderie among fellow aficionados. Cool coverage with great rare exotics! What’s the entry fee this year for the Quail show?

This year the entrance fee was around $1,250-$1,500 per person. Or if you don't want to deal with traffic, there is a Helicopter package for $17,500. Both were sold out long ago!
